  Frequently Asked Questions
  Is there a minimum rental period for a storage unit?
 
Storers are required to pay 2 weeks in advance and provide 7 days notice if they wish to move out.
   
  How much does self storage cost?
 
Rentals start from as little as $18 / week for a 3 x 1.7 x 3 unit, however there are many different sizes available and the cost will depend entirely on how many m3 you need to store. Our friendly staff can help you identify the right size unit.
   
  Do I have to pay a deposit?
  No.
  What options do I have to pay my rental?
 
Most storers will pay monthly, however your payment in advance of 6 or 12 months will give you a discount on your rental. You can authorise us to charge a credit card on your due date, send us a cheque, arrange a direct debit with your bank, or come into our on site office to pay over the counter.
   
  Will anyone else have a key for my storage unit?
 
Absolutely not, you can bring your own padlock or purchase one of ours, either way you hold the only keys.
   
  Are the storage units clean and dry?
 
Yes, all our units are thoroughly cleaned after each customer and treated to keep out unwanted pests. Our facility has advanced storm water drainage to ensure your goods remain dry. We do however recommend you purchase insurance to cover your possessions whilst in storage, ask our staff for assistance.
   
  What about security?
  The premises are fully fenced with barbed wire. Every entry and exit is recorded.
   
  Can you help with packaging supplies?
 
We sell tea chest cartons, book boxes, bubble wrap, tape, padlocks, butchers paper, archive boxes and marking pens. See our display in the office.
   
  Are my goods insured in storage?
 
NRMA, GIO and AMP will transfer your existing contents insurance policy, just advise them where your goods are, like changing address. Alternatively you can purchase insurance.
